We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at Mind Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC. In this full-time, remote role, you will play a vital part in providing clinical social work services to clients in a detox center setting, employing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. As an LCSW, you will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate healing and recovery from emotional and social challenges.

About the Organization

Mind Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC is committed to making professional therapy accessible to all individuals, regardless of their circumstances. We offer various therapy options, including telehealth and in-person sessions, allowing us to reach diverse populations including adults, adolescents, and families. Our focus is on fostering an environment that promotes emotional health and well-being through compassionate and evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care. You will be actively involved with a detox center, which prioritizes the stabilization and rehabilitation of clients undergoing substance use issues. The ability to provide telehealth services is essential, and you will need a reliable internet connection for seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy services to clients via telehealth and in-person as necessary, using established techniques to ensure effective treatment of emotional and social problems.
  • Ensure that interns and trainees meet all documentation requirements set forth by their universities and the organization.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops for interns, focusing on compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.
  • Maintain audit-compliant, accurate records for each intern, ensuring they meet organizational and funding requirements.
  • Partake in the intern evaluation processes, supporting their growth and professional development while addressing performance issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate with Centralized Intake, school contacts, and clinical supervisors to monitor and adjust intern caseloads effectively.
  • Engage in quality assurance and improvement activities regarding documentation and client records.
  • Stay actively involved in team meetings and required training initiatives.
  • Deliver prompt clinical consultations for clients in both crisis and non-crisis scenarios.
  • Oversee the organization and tidiness of the work environment, promptly reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Participate in the continuous evaluation of clinical program objectives and practices for enhancing service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, as well as their families. Your clinical expertise will support a diverse clientele, addressing their unique social and emotional challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions. Your work will involve creating treatment plans that prioritize the individualโ€™s specific needs, ultimately contributing to successful rehabilitation and improved quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health discipline is required.
  • Must hold a current, valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proven experience in providing telehealth services is essential.
  • Ability to effectively manage electronic health records, specifically in AWARDS or similar systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and documentation standards.
  • Must be a resident of the United States, residing within California.
  • A solid understanding of both federal and state mental health regulations and requirements.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with detox clients or in substance use disorder treatment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising or mentoring interns and trainees within a clinical setting.
  • Previous involvement in training, workshop facilitation, or similar educational roles is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Employee assistance program offering mental health resources and support.
  • Full workload providing a fulfilling and engaging work schedule.
