• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of client mental health status through virtual sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions aimed at addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma.
• Provide supportive resources and referrals to additional healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or support groups, when necessary.
• Document all client interactions and maintain comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in professional development activities, including training and workshops, to stay updated on best practices and therapeutic advancements.

Your work at Silver Wing Counseling Center will involve engaging with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience working in mental health settings.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced by a solid grasp of evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competence in therapy.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other relevant computer applications.
• A solid commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing insights and sharing best practices.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive approaches.
• Background in specialized treatment areas, such as trauma-informed care or addiction recovery.
• Participation in community outreach programs or workshops promoting mental health awareness and education.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
