Job description

We are looking to add Intake Coordinators / Inside Sales to our Team.

Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office & 2 days remote) based on performance.

Starting pay $19.00/hr. - we offer 2 compensation changes and a bonus annually, based on performance.

We offer a clear path for advancement into managerial positions.

Lunch catered once a week.

About Our Organization

This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

While you may work primarily with a specific facility or brand, you will be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees and strengthening the communities we serve.

Intake coordinators provide the initial contact a client has with The Recovery Village unless they have had direct contact with one of the business development representatives. They may conduct brief telephone screenings to determine the nature and extent of the client's presenting issue, and whether The Recovery Village can provide the services the client is requesting.

If applicable to the setting, intake coordinators may be responsible for obtaining insurance information. After an intake assessment is completed, the intake coordinator discusses admission with the Admissions Director. At times the intake coordinators may determine that the agency or organization is not an appropriate match for a client's needs and will refer the client to a more suitable facility.

Core Job Duties

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • Responsible for demonstrating a positive image
  • Answers the telephone within three (3) rings using an appropriate greeting
  • Attempt to obtain key information to impact first call close and connection process
  • Effectively connect with the caller to allow them to see you as the expert
  • Conducts pre-admission assessments to determine appropriateness for admission.
  • Provide program information to prospective clients and families as needed.
  • Makes copies/send faxes as needed
  • Provides visitors or callers with general and specialized information about the facility
  • Conduct telephone conversations in a friendly and professional manner

Other Required Tasks

  • Maintains clear communications with supervisors and co-workers
  • Follows all policy and procedures of The Recovery Village
  • Receives and screens visitors and / or telephone calls, providing general and specialized information about the facility
  • Work as a positive team member
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Admissions and Call Center Supervisor
  • Participate in staff meetings as needed
  • Provide potential business development referrals to the Director of Business Development

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales highly desired, especially Complex Selling.
  • Any experience working in Mental Health or Addiction Treatment is very helpful.
