Job description

America’s Freedom Fuels is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Entry/Office Assistant for our office in Phenix City, Alabama. This is a full-time position averaging 30 or more hours per week, Monday through Friday.


The person in this position will accurately enter and maintain company information, organize records, and assist with general office duties. We are looking for someone who is organized, comfortable using a computer, and able to work independently.


Previous office or data-entry experience is helpful but not required.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter information into company computer systems and spreadsheets
  • Review documents for missing or incorrect information
  • Update and maintain electronic and paper records
  • Scan, copy, file, and organize documents
  • Assist with invoices, reports, receipts, and other business records
  • Perform basic calculations and verify totals when needed
  • Maintain the confidentiality of company and employee information
  • Answer phones and assist with general office duties as assigned
  • Complete work accurately and within required deadlines


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet-based programs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
