Job description

(Please note: Applicants must reside in one of the following states, Arizona, Nebraska, Tennessee or Oregon. Additionally QuickBooks Online experience is required)

Our client is a virtual, innovative, tech-centric, non-tax CPA firm. They're not boring. They don't have boring clients. They come to work, do their work, have fun, and finish at a reasonable hour. Busy season is a breeze, because they don't do taxes. And, I promise, they will not micro-manage, but they do expect everyone to maintain dedicated workspaces that support focus and team goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Our client's CPA firm is growing and needs an additional Bookkeeper to keep their team busy, but not overwhelmed. They care about each other while wanting to give their best to each client.

They need someone with 2-5 years of bookkeeping experience, public accounting or multi-client bookkeeping experience is a bonus, but they're open to candidates with strong bookkeeping experience in other settings. This person needs to step-in and quickly/effectively handle the day-to-day bookkeeping processes from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter transactions from the bank feeds
  • Entering & paying bills
  • Entering invoices & customer payments
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Track & maintain workflow
  • Reporting and analytics

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • QuickBooks Online: 2-3 years' experience (must be currently using)
  • Excel and Office: highly proficient
  • Proficient on PC
  • Dedicated workspace to support focus
  • Public accounting or multi-client experience is a plus, not a requirement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Residence in Arizona, Nebraska, Tennessee or Oregon
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer

OFFERING:

  • Compensation: $23-27/hr
  • 100% Employee Health/Vision/Dental Insurance
  • Matching SIMPLE IRA (after waiting period)
  • PTO and Holiday Pay
