Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Specialist)
Location: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ Employment Type: Open to Full Time or Part Time hours Pay: $25/hr - $28/hr
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise to help stabilize and improve financial operations for a growing organization. This individual will play a key role in cleaning up financial records, streamlining accounting processes, supporting month end close activities, and improving cash flow visibility through forecasting and reporting.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently to bring structure and efficiency to accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day to day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies
  • Clean up and organize existing financial data and accounting processes
  • Assist with month end and year end close activities
  • Maintain and improve accounting workflows and internal procedures
  • Support cash flow management and cash forecasting efforts
  • Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial priorities and special projects
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven bookkeeping experience in a small to mid sized business environment
  • Proficient with QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with account reconciliations, month end close, and cash management
  • Ability to identify process improvements and implement best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective communication and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
