Physician Assistant (PA-C) — Virtual Primary Care

Remote | Full-Time

About the Role

Our client, a leading telehealth platform, is expanding rapidly and looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant to join their virtual care team. You will provide exceptional primary care services to a diverse patient population, ensuring they receive the best possible care from the comfort of their homes. As a vital member of the team, you will listen thoughtfully, engage with patients in a personable manner, and help shape the future of healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services via telehealth
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions across a broad adult patient population
  • Develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications within your scope of practice
  • Practice in collaboration with supervising physicians in accordance with state-specific requirements and the platform's clinical protocols
  • Build strong relationships with patients through empathetic listening and clear communication
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, NPs, RNs, and care coordinators
  • Document care accurately and completely in the EHR
  • Contribute to improving patient care processes and ensuring a high-quality experience
Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) in good standing
  • Active PA license in at least three U.S. states
  • Active DEA registration, plus applicable state controlled substance registrations
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care
  • Comfortable practicing within a collaborative physician model across multiple states
  • Exceptional communication skills with a warm, upbeat personality
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to connect with patients virtually
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-growing telehealth environment
Nice to Have
  • Prior telehealth or virtual care experience
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (support provided)
  • Experience with modern EHR platforms and asynchronous care workflows
