Position Purpose: The Account Executive is responsible for the overall sales execution of business objectives within their assigned territory by adding new business through efficient prospecting and account acquisition, retaining existing accounts with intentional servicing and relationship management, providing exceptional service on a daily basis to new and existing accounts while increasing market share through product saturation and organic growth all while operating within the guidelines of CalTex Protective Coatings, Inc.

Essential Job Functions: The Account Executive must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation. Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed all monthly and annual net revenue goals and productivity objectives.

Effectively manage your assigned territory to generate revenue by selling CalTex products and services.

Acquire new accounts by prospecting effectively and cultivating new relationships within your assigned territory.

Utilize the CRM tool to document and manage all prospective customer interactions.

Follow through on all aspects of the CalTex sales process from the initial qualification stage of a prospect down to the execution of properly completed and executed contracts.

Drive new revenue streams by utilizing existing marketing and lead generation campaigns and/or programs provided by CalTex.

Ensure all sales process, customer information, market details and competitor data are recorded daily in company CRM tool without exception.

Formulate and execute a SMART goal-based strategic sales plan for designated territory and/or specific client portfolios to increase sales production, product saturation and net revenue.

Educate our prospects and clients by delivering compelling, brand-specific presentations, product demonstrations, virtual and hands-on training that highlight CalTex’s superior advantages via dealership sales meetings, agency education and/or F&I Seminars.

Cultivate a trusted advisor status relationship with the Dealer Principal, senior dealership management and both variable and fixed operations management staff. • Utilize those relationships to create cross-sell opportunities with existing clients to increase product saturation in dealerships.

Train Detail Department and/or Service Department personnel on application of CalTex products.

Train Service Advisors on claims processes via CalTex applications, websites or telephone.

Train Office Staff on remit procedures and manage Remits in Transit for timely payment.

Train Sales and F&I Department on all aspects of CalTex programs utilized and available.

Work independently and demonstrate effective time management skills by utilizing Microsoft Outlook, TEAMS and CRM tools provided.

Initiate dealership reviews to ensure product application, utilization and representation as mandated by company standards.

Consistently evaluate performance achievements/opportunity areas as it relates to previously demonstrated expectations.

Attend trade shows, seminars and networking events to prospect, drive sales and promote brand awareness.

Ensure that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with organizational guidelines, local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.

Work closely with your Sales Directors to meet all assigned objectives and duties and be prepared to discuss any successes and/or opportunity areas in your territory regularly.

Manage a pre-determined Training & Expense budget and follow all organizational guidelines and practices.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 3 years of experience in a direct customer relations role. College is preferred although not required.

Successful record in automotive dealership and/or after-market sales desired. In addition, a qualified applicant will:

Have a minimum expectation of 75% travel in assigned territory.

Be able to complete multiple duties with accuracy and meet multiple deadlines.

Be able to use computer/laptop with basic skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, TEAMS and Outlook in a business environment.

Effectively communicate in writing to CalTex management and dealership management on a regular basis.

Have experience in automotive dealership and/or after-market sales preferred.

Utilize exceptional communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with team members, office staff, management and executive team.

Have the ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and follow through to resolution.

Have a true self-commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.

Work Environment: The majority of job responsibilities are performed while outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and hazards. Some flex hours will be required (must be able to work nights and weekends on a non-routine basis).

Contacts: Interaction will occur with all levels of employees and management, outside vendors and contractors in the performance of the job duties as they relate to the Account Executive. Interaction will generally entail the exchange and gathering of information and responding to questions and requests from leaders.
