Overview
The VIP Server is responsible for providing high-end, professional food and beverage service to VIP guests in premium areas such as suites, clubs, lounges, and VIP sections. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a polished and upscale guest experience in a fast-paced event environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to VIP guests in suites, clubs, and VIP areas
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and deliver items promptly
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and attentive presence at all times
  • Ensure VIP spaces are clean, organized, and properly stocked before and during service
  • Set up and break down VIP areas including tables, bars, and buffet stations
  • Refill beverages, clear plates, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
  • Follow all alcohol service guidelines and responsible serving practices
  • Handle guest requests quickly and professionally
  • Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service
  • Process payments if required (cash/credit) and follow proper cash-handling procedures
  • Comply with company standards, uniform requirements, and venue policies
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned based on event needs

Qualifications
  • Prior serving experience required (VIP, fine dining, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment
  • Must be professional, polished, and customer-focused
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-40 lbs
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • TABC Certification required (or ability to obtain prior to working)
  • Food Handler Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
