Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care tailored to the specific needs of each patient. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving functional goals.
  • Implementing hands-on therapeutic interventions for a varied patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
  • Providing ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment programs as necessary, and ensuring adherence to the physician's plan of care.
  • Educating patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Documenting patient interactions comprehensively within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure accurate information flow and continuity of care.
  • Demonstrating exceptional customer service, fostering positive relationships with patients, and enhancing their overall experience during therapy.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and address outcomes effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on a diverse client base, including athletes rehabilitating from injuries, children needing developmental support, and adults requiring orthopedic or neurological rehabilitation. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Active CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record software to aid in documentation and communication.
  • A passion for connecting with people and a commitment to empowering patients to achieve their recovery goals.
Preferred Experience
