Job description

Summary Bowling Green State University Athletic Ticket Office is seeking qualified students to work as ticket takers at BGSU Athletic Events, preferably students that are local and willing to work during breaks. Other events will be offered as well. Career Readiness Competencies: Communication Professionalism Teamwork Essential Functions Take tickets as fans enter BGSU Athletic events.

Ensure fans have valid tickets to enter the event. Direct fans to seating areas at events. Communicate important game and general information to fans.

Provide optimal customer service to fans of BGSU Athletics. Other duties as assigned by Ticket Operations Coordinator. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to work all BGSU home football games and most other home ticketed events (volleyball, hockey, basketball).

Ability to work nights and weekends. Ability to work outside and stand for long periods of time. Outgoing, attentive, and communicate in a professional manner.

Will collaborate effectively with others to produce results in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact respectfully and appropriately with all populations in the Department, the University, and the community. Sport Management majors preferred.
