Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians, to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing personalized treatment programs that reflect best practices in physical therapy.
  • Utilizing research-driven techniques to address a range of patient needs, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Updating patient documentation and treatment records accurately and promptly, while maintaining compliance with professional and legal standards.
  • Providing guidance and instruction to patients and their caregivers, empowering them through education on therapeutic exercises and techniques.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the overall effectiveness of therapy provided.
  • Utilizing strong customer service skills to foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Viera Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients requiring developmental support, neurological rehabilitation clients, and athletes seeking sports medicine services. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level will play a critical role in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state license as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Current CPR Certification to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in computer-based record keeping.
  • A strong desire to establish and nurture relationships with patients, ensuring they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional qualifications that would enhance your application include:

  • Experience in evidence-based practice methodologies and familiarity with outcome measurement tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Viera Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive salary, our benefits package includes:
