We understand the importance and the power of teamwork, on and off the pitch. Position Description

U.S. Soccer is seeking a dynamic and versatile Manager, Creative Video to serve as the video extension of our Creative Studio. They will drive video storytelling that will support the Federation’s commercial efforts, including, but not limited to: growing our Insiders loyalty program, driving ticket sales, supporting kit launches, working with U.S. Soccer’s corporate partners, and more.

This role will also work in close partnership with the Video Leads on the Content team, who focus primarily on editorial content, ensuring alignment while maintaining a clear distinction between marketing-driven creative and editorial coverage.

  • Capture compelling video footage in a variety of environments (studio, field, live events, travel).
  • Edit high-quality video content, including color correction, sound design, graphics, and basic motion design.
  • Work with the editorial content team on shots needed of teams in camp to serve this role’s key projects.
  • Ensure all content meets U.S. Soccer brand, quality, and technical standards across platforms.
  • The ideal candidate also comes with strong photography experience that can be called upon for promotional or ad hoc photoshoots.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, Partnerships, and Consumer Products teams.
  • Collaborate with the Content department’s Video and Strategy teams to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of effort.
  • Maintain clear communication and timelines across stakeholders.

  • Proven experience with hands-on shooting and editing expertise.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branded, promotional, and marketing-driven video content.
  • Familiarity with social, digital, and paid media best practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with Sony FX6s – the standard camera equipment used by other videographers at the Federation.
  • Proven experience and comfortability in DAM/MAM that speaks to your organizational skills.
  • Experience in scripting and storyboarding.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with an understanding of marketing goals and performance.

  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
  • Lifestyle and/or sports studio photography experience.
  • Basic motion graphics or animation experience.
  • Passion for soccer and the U.S. Soccer mission.
