Job Description
THE ROLE: Specialist, Content Fulfillment (Temporary)
Reporting to the Supervisor, Content Fulfillment, this position is a key player in the Content Operations team based in Stamford, CT. The Global Content Fulfillment Team consists of a range of roles focused on the processing, packaging, and distribution of A+E Content for Global Platforms. Ensuring content reaches our consumers across a wide range of platforms and locations and developing new solutions to continually improve the user experience of our customers, consumers and colleagues is our mandate.
The specialist will be responsible for owning successful processing and delivery of AEGM content for deliveries to third-party platforms, FVOD, FAST, AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, and Owned & Operated. In addition, the Specialist will own the tracking and communication of fulfillment and will be responsible for ensuring all assets (metadata, artwork, video, and captioning) are delivered in compliance with partner package requirements, including delivery SLAs.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Responsible for performing the complete fulfillment of A+E content - source processing, packaging and delivery of required elements (metadata, artwork, video, and captioning) for distribution to partners based on their required specs.
  • Work order tracking via Comcast Video Platform (CVP), Medigenix, and Airtable,
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Scheduling, Content Operations, Acquisitions, Production Operations, and Metadata Operations to acquire necessary elements for packaging and delivery.
  • Responsible for the technical Q/C of package elements in preparation for digital distribution.
  • Support technicians as the process subject matter expert across process and distribution endpoints.
  • Support the Manager, Content Fulfillment relating to the prioritization of day-to-day and project-based deliveries.
  • Must interact effectively with distribution partners and management across all levels of the organization.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication.
  • Foster an inclusive working environment that is consistent with the AEGM cultural values.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Advanced knowledge of video formats & codecs. As well as experience with Adobe products, video encoding technologies, XML metadata and digital delivery protocols & technologies (FTP, SFTP, Aspera, Signiant), a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Experience in project management, a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and time management skills in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  • Proactive work ethic while maintaining a keen focus on accuracy in a detailed oriented workflow a must; a positive attitude with a desire to excel in a team-oriented culture; and a Passion for new technology and a desire to work in the entertainment/media industry.

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Global Media on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
Compensation
Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $41.21
