Job description

The Video Specialist is responsible to conceptualize, organize, create and edit business and function video programs from concept through completion, work with the Producer and Creative Director during concept development, interface with the client and all phases of the production process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Video Specialist is responsible to conceptualize, organize, create and edit business and function video programs from concept through completion, work with the Producer and Creative Director during concept development, interface with the client and all phases of the production process.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate and contribute to the creative process as a member of a creative team
  • Complete understanding of Adobe Premiere video editing, multiple presentation tools, formats, designs and application
  • Write and present storyboards, ideas and approaches to execution (concept to completion)
  • Responsible for assembling the final product as a sequence consisting of shots from the raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects and graphics
  • Perform Quality control, including proofing, reviewing, measuring self-performance, creative output and project process (es)
  • Effectively engage in several projects simultaneously when needed
  • Provide output finished programs and production reels in various formats in an organized and timely fashion
  • Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.

  • This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in post-production, Studio Broadcast Production, Live Shoot/Field Production
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Premiere Editor, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator (Demo Reel or Online Portfolio Required)
  • Complete understanding of all aspects of video production to include graphics
  • Demonstrate talent for conceptualizing
  • Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others
  • Ability to manage time productively and complete assignments as requested
  • Ability to understand design capabilities and constraints
  • Ability to build quality customer relationships that will enable the work group success ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Nice-To-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree Business Communications, Broadcast Production or in similar or related field preferred
