Job description

Crossfield Strategic Partners is a boutique financial services firm in Hackensack, NJ, working with high-net-worth clients and elite financial producers. We're building our in-house content team and looking for a creative, platform-native Marketing & Video Editing Intern to execute our social media day-to-day.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn and knows how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form video. You'll work directly under our marketing lead and get real experience building content inside a professional environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok — cutting longer footage (webinars, talking-head clips, podcast segments) into punchy, engaging pieces
  • Create and schedule social posts across LinkedIn (our primary channel), YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Produce simple, on-brand graphics and write captions
  • Repurpose long-form content — turn one webinar or article into 5–10 social assets
  • Track basic performance metrics and pull a simple weekly report
  • Maintain the content calendar under direction from the marketing lead

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, communications, film/video, or related program
  • Strong short-form video editing skills — CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or equivalent (portfolio/reel required)
  • Genuinely fluent in how LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube work today
  • A good eye for design and an instinct for what stops a scroll
  • Organized, reliable, and able to hit a consistent posting schedule
  • Bonus: experience with financial, professional services, or B2B content

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15–25 hours per week. 8–10 week internship with potential to extend or convert. Hybrid — in-office at our Hackensack office with some remote flexibility.

Compliance Note: We operate in a regulated industry. All content is reviewed and approved internally before posting. You'll learn our simple content guidelines on day one — great experience in how professional marketing works inside a compliant environment.

How to Apply: Submit your resume, a short note on why this role interests you, and a link to your video editing reel or portfolio of short-form social content. Applications without a work sample will not be considered.
