Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
  • Develop engaging, social-first video concepts that align with brand storytelling and client objectives
  • Produce video content end-to-end, from pre-production planning through filming and final edit
  • Direct or assist on shoots, guiding talent and ensuring creative vision is executed effectively
  • Create compelling creative materials including treatments, scripts, shot lists, and mood boards
  • Craft platform-native content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Apply strong editing instincts-pacing, hooks, and visual storytelling-to maximize performance
  • Stay ahead of social trends, formats, and cultural moments to inform content development
  • Experiment with emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to enhance creativity and efficiency
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
  • 2+ years of experience in social video content creation and production (agency, brand, or creator background)
  • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-specific trends
  • Hands-on experience shooting and directing video, including working with on-screen talent or creators
  • Proficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with emerging creative technologies, including AI-assisted tools for ideation and production
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across creative teams
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to experiment and take ownership of projects
  • Based in New York City with the ability to work in-office 4 days per week (hybrid schedule)

Compensation & EEO

The base salary for this role is between $75,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, and location.
