Overview

The Social Media Video Content Creator will be responsible for producing high-quality, visually appealing video content for various social media channels. The main focus of the role will be shooting hand held camera & mobile content for social channels and editing content on the go for those channels in a very agile manner to be time effecient. The candidate should be highly creative, detail-oriented, and have a passion for storytelling through video content.

  • Excellent proficiency in using mobile devices, cameras, gimbals and shooting high-quality content on them, with the ability to use various video editing software to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their latest trends, features, and algorithms to create content that is optimized for each platform.
  • Knowledge of lighting, sound, and camera techniques to create high-quality videos.
  • Ability to work with a team of social media managers and content creators to understand their vision and execute it through creative and interactive videos.
  • Knowledge of different video formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions to ensure that the videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage time efficiently to deliver high-quality videos on time.
  • Understanding of the business objectives of the client and the ability to create videos that align with those objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the client, social media managers, and content creators to ensure that the videos meet the client's expectations.
  • Knowledge of budget management to ensure that the videos are created within the allocated budget.
  • Ability to collaborate with the team to streamline the production process and create videos efficiently without compromising on quality.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film, Video Production, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in creating videos for social media platforms, with a focus on mobile-first content creation.
  • Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • A portfolio of previous video work showcasing creative and interactive social media content
