In addition, Legends will represent the University in developing campus-wide strategic partnerships. As the exclusive partner for Miami Athletics, Legends will engage Hurricanes fans and donors, local and regional South Florida businesses, and national brands with unique and integrated sponsorship, ticketing, and hospitality options.
THE ROLE
The Video Producer, Brand & Partnerships supports the creation and execution of revenue-generating content initiatives for Miami Athletics, with a strong emphasis on sponsored content, NIL fulfillment, branded storytelling, partner campaigns, ticketing & hospitality experience, development, and marketing-driven creative.
Reporting to the Lead Video Producer, Brand & Partnerships, this role is a hands-on content producer responsible for assisting with shoots, editing assigned projects, and supporting productions from pre-production through final delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong shooter/editor with creative instincts, technical proficiency, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced commercial content environment while helping maintain the quality and consistency of the department's output.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the production of assigned commercial content projects, including sponsored content, NIL fulfillment, branded campaigns, partner activations, and marketing initiatives.
  • Shoot and edit short-form and long-form content for social media, digital platforms, in-venue use, paid media, sales materials, and partner-facing content.
  • Assist in executing projects from pre-production through final delivery, including production planning, shoot support, editing, and content preparation.
  • Collaborate with creative leadership and other internal teams to execute content that aligns with partner objectives, marketing priorities, revenue goals, and Miami Athletics brand standards.
  • Support both studio and field productions, including setup, lighting, audio, camera operation, media management, and on-site logistics.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating assigned shoots, including equipment prep, scheduling support, shot lists, talent coordination, and production needs.
  • Edit content across multiple platforms and formats while maintaining creative quality, storytelling standards, and brand consistency.
  • Organize footage, manage project assets, and support efficient post-production workflows across assigned projects.
  • Create content with an understanding of platform-first storytelling and best practices for social, digital, web, in-venue, and campaign use.
  • Stay current on content trends, social formats, and branded storytelling techniques to help strengthen creative output and identify fresh ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director, Creative Services and Lead Video Producer, Brand & Partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in video production, film, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in video production, content creation, creative production, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience with professional camera systems, including cinema, DSLR, and mirrorless platforms such as Sony, Canon, RED, and Blackmagic.
  • Working knowledge of lighting, audio capture, production planning, and post-production workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and take creative direction while also contributing ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high production quality.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and select events as production schedules require.
  • Reel or portfolio required for consideration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience producing branded, sponsored, commercial, and/or NIL-related content.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, agency, media, or brand environments.
  • Motion graphics experience in After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
  • Experience creating content optimized for social and digital platforms.
