Job Purpose

The Vice President of Technology is accountable for running, stabilizing, and continuously improving the technology environment that supports Anderson Business Advisors. This role ensures that platforms, systems, vendors, and services operate reliably, securely, and effectively in alignment with established global technology standards while leveraging technology to improve customer outcomes and operational performance. The VP of Technology partners closely with executive leadership and shared global technology teams to drive operational excellence, enable strategic initiatives, and support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the operational performance of the US technology ecosystem, including Salesforce, client‑facing platforms, core business applications, and workplace collaboration technologies.
  • Ensure systems are stable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business operations and customer needs.
  • Oversee platform administration, system enhancements, integrations, and vendor‑supported development initiatives.
  • Drive operational stability by reducing incidents, minimizing disruption, and improving technology usability across the organization.
  • Establish and reinforce structured change management and release practices.
  • Identify and remove operational inefficiencies and technology friction impacting employees or customers.
  • Partner with executive leadership and global technology teams to ensure platforms support evolving business strategies and customer experience goals.
  • Identify practical opportunities where technology, automation, and AI can improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Strengthen product thinking and platform adoption across client‑facing systems and internal technologies.
  • Ensure reliable reporting, data consistency, and operational visibility across systems and platforms.
  • Partner with data and engineering resources to improve reporting, automation, and AI enablement initiatives.
  • Support governance and data reliability practices across the technology ecosystem.
  • Partner with managed security providers and internal stakeholders to maintain a secure operating environment.
  • Support identity and access management practices and ensure compliance with established security controls.
  • Monitor and mitigate operational technology risks.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, implementation partners, managed service providers, and software providers.
  • Ensure vendors deliver measurable business value, operational reliability, and cost‑effective solutions.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and contribute to technology stack rationalization efforts.
  • Coordinate execution of technology initiatives impacting the US business.
  • Prioritize projects based on operational impact, strategic value, and business alignment.
  • Ensure delivery quality, usability, and stakeholder satisfaction across internal and external execution teams.
  • Partner closely with leadership teams across Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Finance, and Operations to ensure technology supports organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance and operational insight regarding technology capabilities, limitations, and opportunities.
  • Support business growth through scalable, reliable, and customer‑focused technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in technology operations, platform management, engineering leadership, or related technology leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing complex technology ecosystems including Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional technology initiatives involving applications, infrastructure, data, and security.
  • Strong understanding of operational technology governance, vendor management, and service delivery practices.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and manage delivery across internal, shared, and external resources.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, legal, financial services, or other service‑based organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI enablement, workflow automation, and operational analytics initiatives.
  • Experience working within managed security and compliance frameworks.
