Job description

Position Summary: As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer, you will be dedicated to safeguarding a clientโ€™s properties by responding accordingly to alarms and emergencies.

As the Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer, you will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting and administering corporate safety programs and initiatives to ensure team members' safety. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors, and vendors are safe and well-protected.

Detailed Duties/Responsibilities:

โ€ข Respond to alarms and emergencies swiftly and effectively.

โ€ข Communicate clearly with team members and clients; produce detailed reports.

โ€ข Provide exceptional customer service and support corporate safety programs.

โ€ข Coordinate emergency responses and review incident reports to enhance safety.

โ€ข Utilize systems like CCURE and Genetec for monitoring and security management.

โ€ข Monitor OSINT, threat intelligence, weather, and geopolitical events to identify risks impacting operations and travel.

โ€ข Serve as the primary intake point for security incidents, emergency calls, and automated system alarms globally.

โ€ข Create and distribute critical incident alerts, brief leadership on emerging threats, and coordinate communication between internal teams and key stakeholders.

โ€ข Prepare daily and incident reports, monitor GSOC system performance, and support the maintenance and testing of operational and emergency response procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

โ€ข Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

โ€ข Experience in contract security, military, law enforcement, or corrections.

โ€ข Previous SOC experience is a must.

โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Education and Experience:

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Political Science, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience.

โ€ข Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

โ€ข Strong commitment to security rules and safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

โ€ข Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
