Lead Health Informatics Analyst - Remote
Job Summary
The Lead Health Informatics Analyst provides advanced analytical, technical, and stakeholder-facing support for clinical informatics initiatives. This role leads requirements gathering, information modeling, and process documentation efforts to support the design, development, and optimization of clinical informatics systems. The analyst works both independently and directly with clients to capture complex clinical and operational needs, translate them into actionable system requirements, support configuration activities, and ensure that solutions meet quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include user acceptance testing, artifact development, and subject-matter expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or CPRS/VistA configuration.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
  • 8 years of professional experience, with at least 6 years specialized in Health Informatics.
    • Six additional years of specialized experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Expertise in:
    • Stakeholder management
    • Requirements gathering and requirements analysis
    • Information modeling
    • Process documentation
    • Liaison activities supporting clinical informatics software development and project execution
  • Demonstrated ability to provide:
    • Requirements elicitation and analysis
    • User acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution
    • Development of documentation and artifacts for health information systems
  • Ability to work independently and in client-facing roles to capture and validate requirements.
  • Specialized experience producing artifacts or documentation for systems involved in the capture or standardization of:
    • Health information
    • Clinical information
    • Data supporting therapeutic discovery, medical research, or life sciences operations
  • Extensive hands-on experience configuring Oracle Health (Cerner) and/or CPRS/VistA.
