Job description

Our client is a fast-growing and nationally-recognized Third Party Logistics provider (3PL). They are seeking a VP of Operations to join their existing team. This is a regional role managing multiple 3PL’s in the South Bay region of greater Los Angeles. Here is a quick run-down of the role itself, and then a bit more about the company at the bottom.


VP of Warehouse Operations (South Bay Regional role):


  • Must have strong experience managing multiple warehouses or distribution centers
  • Must have experience with storage and logistics for hard or soft goods
  • Must have cross-docking, transloading experience
  • Must have experience analyzing best practices across operating divisions
  • Must have excellent communication and management skills
  • Must have experience with full P&L and budgetary ownership
  • Must be comfortable driving to different operating locations within region
  • Salary likely $220k - $250K + $1100 month car allowance + 30% bonus + benefits
