Premier Research is looking for a Vice President, Medical Affairs (Psychiatry) to join our Medical Affairs team. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary medical and scientific strategic lead supporting psychiatryโ€‘focused clinical study opportunities, including business development and proposal support, and bid defense meetings.
  • Act as the goโ€‘to medical expert in psychiatry, providing expert medical and scientific input on clinical development programs for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams to develop and execute study design, protocol development, and patient recruitment strategies.
  • Provide strategic medical and scientific input for psychiatryโ€‘related consulting projects.
  • Drive awareness of Premier's leadership in the psychiatry/neurology space by participating as an SME in marketing activities and scientific engagement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • MD with board certification in psychiatry and at least 3โ€‘5 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in clinical development, preferably within a sponsor organization.
  • Expertโ€‘level knowledge of psychiatry, drug development (device experience a plus) and GCP regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to upholding industry ethics and scientific standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
Compensation & Benefits

Premier Research is dedicated to providing compensation that is fair and competitive with market standards. The annualized minimum base pay for this role is $260,000.00 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidateโ€™s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
