The Role

This leader will oversee key areas of marketing, including demand generation, brand marketing, communications, content, events, and industry engagement. They will play a critical role in elevating adMarketplace's market presence, strengthening customer and partner engagement, and communicating the value of our solutions across the evolving search, commerce media, and AI‑driven advertising landscape.

The Vice President of Marketing will shape and execute adMarketplace's brand and go‑to‑market strategy, bringing our differentiated capabilities, thought leadership, and customer success stories to life through integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, compelling storytelling, and operational excellence, with experience building brands, generating demand, and driving measurable business outcomes within B2B technology, adtech, digital media, and/or advertising ecosystems.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Brand & Market Leadership

  • Help evolve adMarketplace’s brand positioning and messaging across the search, commerce media, and AI‑driven advertising landscape
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing, communications, thought leadership, and industry engagement programs that strengthen adMarketplace's brand, increase market visibility, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure a consistent and differentiated brand experience across all market‑facing touchpoints, including digital properties, communications, events, partner ecosystems, and the company website.

Demand Generation & Revenue Marketing

  • Build and execute integrated demand generation and marketing programs in partnership with Sales, Advertiser Success, Supply and Product teams that generate qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact.
  • Oversee paid media, content syndication, email marketing, ABM, partner marketing, webinars, and field marketing initiatives
  • Monitor key marketing performance metrics including pipeline contribution, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and attribution reporting to optimize campaign performance
  • Partner with Commercial and Product Marketing teams to activate go‑to‑market initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue.

Industry Marketing & External Engagement

  • Represent adMarketplace at industry conferences, webinars, client meetings, and marketing events
  • Build strong relationships across agencies, publishers, customers, and strategic partners

Content, Communications & Storytelling

  • Develop content programs spanning thought leadership, social media, published editorial, customer storytelling, product marketing, webinars, and sales enablement
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to translate product positioning and value propositions into integrated campaigns, content programs, thought leadership, customer stories, and sales enablement assets.

Team & Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Lead and grow a lean marketing team spanning demand generation, communications, content, social, and events
  • Build and oversee the optimal mix of internal resources, agency partners, external vendors & AI applications to maximize marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Establish marketing priorities, optimize team processes, and foster a collaborative, data‑driven culture focused on accountability, cross‑functional partnership, execution, and measurable impact.
Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of hand‑on marketing experience, including 3–5+ years leading marketing teams within high‑growth B2B environments
  • Proven leadership experience within adtech, digital media, search, commerce media, performance advertising, or AI‑powered technology platforms
  • Demonstrated success supporting brand awareness, product positioning, and qualified pipeline generation in B2B sales environments
  • Experience marketing AI‑powered, data‑driven, or technically sophisticated products and translating complex technologies into compelling customer value propositions and market narratives.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging marketing performance metrics, attribution models, and ROI analysis to inform strategy and investment decisions
  • Experience building and leading high‑performing teams while managing agency partners, budgets, and cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with evolving priorities and ambitious growth objectives

*Compensation: $220,000 - $290,000 + Bonus & Equity
