Job description

 Our client, a software company that sells network and business software to Telecoms Service Providers, is looking for a VP Sales for North America.
We are seeking a strong sales leader with a track record of sales success with an extensive personal network in Tier 1 Service Providers across North America (AT&T, Verizon, and TMO). The successful individual will manage a small team of sales professionals and will be a player-coach. Therefore, the person must be hands-on and willing to travel extensively.
Candidates with experience selling OSS, BSS, or RAN network software would be appropriate.
Our client is headquartered in North America, and most of its business is directly with the service providers (rather than through channels).
The salary is flexible (please ignore details on the job board).
Please note Dallas is a strong preference.
