Job Title: Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Salary: $340K+ Depending on Experience

Position Summary

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of the company's worldwide manufacturing plants and warehouse/distribution network. This executive will drive scalable, cost-effective, and resilient operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and customer service across all regions.

The SVP will partner closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Finance, IT, and Commercial leadership to align global operations with business strategy, growth objectives, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global manufacturing and warehouse operations strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Lead global footprint optimization, including capacity planning, site selection, expansion, consolidation, and automation initiatives.
  • Establish standardized operating models, governance, and performance management across regions while respecting local requirements.

Manufacturing Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple global sites, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and output.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Champion innovation in manufacturing processes, equipment, and digital technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0).

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

  • Lead global warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and network optimization.
  • Improve service levels, throughput, and cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
  • Partner with Transportation and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless end-to-end product flow.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversight on capital expenditures, and cost management initiatives.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to productivity, quality, service, safety, and cost.
  • Deliver productivity gains and margin improvements through operational excellence and strategic investments.

People & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global operations leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Lead talent development, succession planning, and workforce capability building across all regions.

Risk Management & Resilience

  • Strengthen operational resilience through risk assessments, business continuity planning, and supply chain contingency strategies.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability for operational technologies.
  • Lead crisis management and recovery efforts related to manufacturing or warehouse disruptions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to enterprise-wide strategy and decision-making.
  • Partner with external suppliers, contract manufacturers, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership, board members, and global teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and warehouse/distribution operations, with significant global responsibility.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex, multi-site operations across multiple regions.
  • Deep expertise in manufacturing systems, warehouse operations, Lean/Continuous Improvement, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L responsibility and capital planning.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including automation and digitalization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
