Job description

About Us: PurgeRite, the leader in high-quality mechanical flushing services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SIOP Director. We serve all sizes of commercial mechanical companies across the U.S. with end-user clients that include many top Fortune 100 companies. Projects include data centers, semiconductor and EV battery manufacturers, universities, health care facilities, and district energy systems.  We are a first-mover company seeking an individual who works with a sense of urgency, brings structure to ill-defined problems, and can independently drive cross-functional alignment. Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and is results-driven.

Position Overview:

Our customers choose PurgeRite because of our unique ability to deliver turn-key flushing solutions for some of the most complex hydronic systems being deployed today.  This key position is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Facilitate the monthly 4-week SIOP cadence of demand planning, supply planning, financial review, and executive decision making. Drive consensus demand and supply plans in both units and revenue ($) for assigned lines of business, presenting actionable trade-off analysis (service vs. cost vs. inventory) to senior executive leadership. Ensure project delivery within the allocated budget and timelines, leveraging strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Demand & Supply Alignment: Lead analytics, create data-driven visualizations, and deliver actionable insights to form a robust consensus plan. Partner with Demand Planning, Material/Capacity leaders, and Offering Management to reflect product lifecycle transitions and unconstrained/constrained scenarios accurately.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency: Reduce SIOP cycle times through workflow redesign and automation. Document SOPs, establish playbooks, and drive standard planning frameworks to create scalable, repeatable rhythms across operations.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Partner with Finance and Procurement to manage inventory health, align SIOP outputs with operational schedules, and optimize Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) while mitigating supplier capacity and long-lead material risks. Prepare and deliver regular project status reports; strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Data Analysis & KPI Ownership: Utilize advanced analytics and planning tools to drive continuous improvement across key operational metrics. Own and report on critical KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Plan Adherence, DIO, and Revenue Attainment vs. Plan. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong cross-functional relationships across Sales Operations, Offering Management, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to build organizational rapport and promote alignment persuasively without direct authority.
  • Systems & Transformation: Implement, optimize, and leverage enterprise planning systems to build reliable views, scenario modeling capabilities, and governance structures.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency with intermediate to high-level order processing systems, inventory software, and enterprise planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP IBP/APO, or Oracle).
  • Financial & Business Acumen: Proven track record linking supply chain outputs directly to financial forecasts, P&L commitments, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to manage complex alignment processes, simplify technical data, and influence senior Director and VP stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving & Structure: Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems, synthesize complex data into executive-ready recommendations, and manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Urgency & Execution: High-level dedication to operational excellence, acting with urgency to meet tight monthly planning cadences and revenue commitments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Sales Operations, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification: APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CPM, or Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certifications.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of progressive experience in end-to-end SIOP/S&OP, demand planning, or supply planning within mechanical, industrial service, or specialized manufacturing environments.
  • Systems & Scale: Demonstrated experience driving planning processes for high-growth business units across multi-site or national operations.

Company Support: The company is committed to providing the necessary resources and training to ensure this person can be successful in learning and enhancing our approach as we move forward.
