Vice President, Supply Chain

FDH Aero is a trusted global supply chain partner for aerospace and defense companies, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for OEM and aftermarket customers. With more than 55+ years of experience and operations in 14 countries, we bring expertise across Commercial, Defense, Space, Business Aviation and Cargo through our specialized business divisions, Electronics, Hardware, Commercial Aftermarket, and Defense Aftermarket.

We Are Looking For

The Vice President, Supply Chain is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain strategy and performance of FDH Electronics, including strategic sourcing and procurement, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, supplier performance, logistics, and supply chain systems and analytics.

This leader will build an integrated and scalable supply chain operating model that improves customer service, strengthens supply continuity, expands margins, and optimizes working capital. The VP will partner closely with leaders across Operations, Sales, Quality, Finance, IT, and the sites to translate business priorities into disciplined execution. The role will also provide supply chain leadership for acquisition diligence and integration.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, finance, or a related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically 15+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, planning, or operations experience, including significant leadership of multi-site teams and senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated success leading an end-to-end supply chain in a complex distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Mil-Aero distribution experience, aerospace and defense, electronics, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed organization with domestic and international suppliers and operations.
  • Experience with acquisitions, integration, and value-creation initiatives in a growth-oriented or private-equity-backed environment preferred.

  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, planning, inventory optimization, logistics, and S&OP/IBP.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including understanding of cost, margin, cash flow, working capital, and risk.
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical, ERP, and MRP capabilities.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, influence, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, standardize processes, and build scalable capabilities.
  • Strong people leadership, talent development, accountability, integrity, and sound judgment.

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
