ECHO Electric is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President, Supply Chain Management to lead the enterprise strategy for inventory performance, supplier management, purchasing effectiveness, and working capital optimization across our growing Midwest electrical distribution platform. This executive leadership role will partner closely with the senior leadership team to strengthen product availability, improve inventory health, enhance supplier accountability, and support the continued advancement of the One ECHO operating model.
This role is based at our St. Louis, MO office or at a facility within the ECHO Electric footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise-wide inventory management strategies focused on inventory health, turns, asset utilization, and working capital improvement.
  • Develop and execute supplier performance programs, including vendor scorecards, business reviews, accountability measures, and strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Oversee purchasing strategy and vendor management initiatives that improve product availability, supplier effectiveness, and organizational leverage
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts related to inventory planning, replenishment practices, forecasting, and supply chain performance measurement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, Category Management, and Executive Leadership to improve business performance and customer outcomes
  • Support ECHO Electric's continued integration and growth by advancing scalable supply chain processes and a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Distribution, Procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, operations, finance, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
  • Proven success leading inventory-intensive businesses and delivering measurable improvements in inventory performance, supplier effectiveness, and working capital results.
  • Strong experience developing supplier partnerships, negotiating with vendors, and driving supplier accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across a complex, multi-site organization.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to drive alignment among diverse stakeholders.
  • Service-oriented leadership style with a strong commitment to organizational culture, associate development, and customer success.
  • Must be authorized to work for ECHO Electric/Sonepar in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within electrical distribution, industrial distribution, wholesale distribution, construction supply, or other inventory-intensive B2B industries.
  • Exposure to Lean methodologies, SIOP processes, demand planning, continuous improvement initiatives, or supply chain transformation efforts.
  • Experience supporting business integration, operating model evolution, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory planning tools, business intelligence platforms, and supplier performance management processes.
