Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee and maximize the performance of a regional real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys balancing operations, financial performance, tenant relationships, and strategic planning.


You will play a key role in protecting and enhancing property value while delivering strong financial results and exceptional service to ownership and tenants,


What You'll Do

Property & Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained through inspections, preventive maintenance, and capital planning
  • Supervise on-site staff and third-party vendors
  • Obtain bids and coordinate repairs, improvements, and upgrades
  • Respond to emergencies and oversee after-hours issue resolution
  • Ensure vacant spaces are lease-ready and coordinate space turnovers

Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets for each property
  • Prepare annual cash flow projections
  • Review monthly financial statements and provide variance analysis
  • Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and CAM reconciliations
  • Work with Accounts Payable to code and approve invoices
  • Work closely with Accounting on reporting and reserve reimbursements
  • Prepare monthly client reports and operational summaries

Leasing & Tenant Relations

  • Negotiate lease renewals in partnership with ownership
  • Collaborate with the leasing team on new deals and prospect evaluation
  • Coordinate with the construction team on tenant build outs 
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants and ownership groups
  • Oversee marketing efforts including signage, advertising, and promotions

Administration & Compliance

  • Prepare annual management plans for each property
  • Maintain organized lease abstracts and property records
  • Track lease expirations, escalations, and key financial deadlines
  • Coordinate with legal, insurance, tax, and regulatory professionals
  • Operate efficiently within MRI property management software

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial property management
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and reporting experience
  • Experience negotiating leases and managing tenant relationships
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to supervise vendors and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the President and Vice President of the Commercial Portfolio and works closely with ownership, accounting, leasing, and facilities teams.

The base salary compensation range for this role reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $85,000- $100,000.Â
