Job description

Position:           Vice President, Human Resources

Location:          New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary:                $140K – $175K + Bonus

 

Stable European Bank seeks a VP of Human Resources to join their Team!!

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and integrate HR functions including payroll processing and reconciliation, benefits, recruiting and employee relations, including coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders as applicable.
  • Administer and evaluate employee benefits programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support preparation and monitoring of personnel budgets and workforce planning.
  • Support various work visa applications.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, accommodation requests, etc. and related documentation.
  • Coordinate and perform full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices meet regulatory, legal, audit and governance standards.
  • Analyze and improve HR workflows, policies, and systems.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred.
  • Masters or MBA is preferred
  • SAP Experience desired
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, immigration visas, and compliance reporting.
  • Experience in banking or another highly regulated, international financial services environment
  • German language ability is a plus.
  • Strong legal, regulatory, compliance awareness and knowledge for HR topics.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
