The Vice President of Analytics and Line of Business (LoB) Enablement will lead the enterprise-wide strategy and delivery of analytics capabilities that turn data into actionable insights for decision-making and customer value. This role is accountable for enabling Lines of Business through better-together partnership, trusted analytics services, overseeing technical, data, and business intelligence (BI) analysts, and owning the BI ecosystem, including dashboarding, reporting, self-service, and AI-enabled insights. The VP will own the delivery of the business semantic layer in partnership with LoB Data Stewards to ensure consistent interpretation of enterprise data assets and build enterprise-wide trust in analytics. By establishing a modern analytics operating model, this leader will simplify access to actionable insights, accelerate adoption, embed analytics into daily workflows, and advance the organization toward a truly data-driven enterprise.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for enterprise analytics unification best practices and standards, ensuring consistent, trusted, governed, and scalable data-driven analytics across the organization.
  • Share accountability for delivering enterprise unification priorities in close alignment with other enterprise data and technology leaders.
  • Create strategy and own the execution of LoB analytics enablement services using federated approach, including training and education on enterprise data assets, common tools, and standards.
  • Own the business intelligence (BI) ecosystem, including platforms and all things actionable insights encompassing governed dashboards, reporting, self-service, AI enabled BI etc.
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for the design and delivery of the business semantic layer in partnership with LoB Data Stewards to ensure consistent interpretation of enterprise data assets, build enterprise-wide trust in analytics, and enable LoB for the ongoing stewardship of the business semantic layer.
  • Define and implement a framework for enterprise-wide key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, partnering with Lines of Business to establish consistent business definitions.
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering, Enterprise Data, and AI teams to ensure analytics are built on trusted, governed data foundations.
  • Embed analytics into business workflows and decision processes, shifting from passive reporting to proactive, actionable insight-driven decisioning.
  • Define and operate a modern analytics operating model with a strong Lines of Business enablement and adoption mindset.
  • Establish enterprise-wide analytics governance and quality standards while enabling speed, flexibility, and self-service.
  • Drive analytics adoption and data literacy across Lines of Business, with clear linkage to measurable business outcomes.
  • Maintain accountability for legacy analytics platform stability and reliability, while executing a deliberate modernization and rationalization strategy.
  • Lead the evolution of a scalable, cloud-native analytics platform, applying “right-tool-for-the-job” and design-pattern-driven principles.
  • Establish shared KPIs with other data and analytics leaders to measure adoption, quality, and business impact, ensuring clear accountability.
  • Drive intentional reduction of legacy technical debt through platform consolidation, modernization, and architectural discipline.
  • Build strong, better-together partnerships with business, technology, risk, and operations leaders to embed analytics into day-to-day decision-making.
  • Foster a hands-on, delivery-oriented culture focused on reusable capabilities, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define the enterprise analytics operating model, including roles, skills, and talent strategy required to scale capabilities.
  • Share accountability with other enterprise data and analytics leaders for day one operational readiness post-merger, minimizing disruption while enabling continuity, scale, and extensibility.
  • Evaluate and manage strategic analytics vendors and partners to accelerate delivery while maintaining cost, quality, and risk controls.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.

Essential Skills
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise analytics, business intelligence, business semantic layer, and LoB analytics enablement. Financial services background preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as a people leader, leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise analytics products (e.g., dashboards, self-service, AI enabled BI insights) that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success translating enterprise data into consumable, trusted, actionable insights for Lines of Business.
  • Deep expertise in business intelligence ecosystems, including dashboards, reporting, semantic layers, and governed self-service.
  • Experience defining and governing enterprise KPIs, metrics, and business definitions in close partnership with Lines of Business.
  • Proven delivery of Customer 360, customer value reporting, and segmentation solutions.
  • Strong background partnering with Lines of Business, marketing, product, and digital teams to embed analytics into their daily workflows and decisions.
  • Experience operating in regulated or highly governed environments, balancing speed with trust and control.
  • Experience in cloud-native (AWS, Azure, or GCP) analytics platforms and consumption patterns in hybrid legacy environments.
  • Experience integrating analytics with marketing and digital SaaS platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sitecore)
  • Product-oriented mindset focused on adoption, usability, and outcomes, not just technical delivery.
  • Experience evaluating and managing analytics tools and vendors, aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Builder mindset with strong prioritization, accountability, and enablement focus.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing analytics, BI, and enablement teams in complex enterprises.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree), advanced degree preferred.

Target Compensation: $250k - $300k annually + annual bonus
