Job description

About the Role:

The Senior Vice President, Solutions Group is a strategic, commercially minded technology leader responsible for shaping, scaling, and managing Trace3's solution portfolio in alignment with business objectives, market demand, client needs, and partner strategy. This leader sets the direction for the company's solutions portfolio, determines where Trace3 will lead, participate, invest, or intentionally not pursue, and ensures priority offerings are packaged, priced, enabled, and ready for both sales execution and delivery excellence.

The SVP, Solutions Group oversees high-impact solution domains including Data and Analytics, Digital Consulting, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Managed Services Sales, and Innovation. This role unifies these practices into a cohesive portfolio of products, services, capabilities, and partner-led solutions that drive durable growth, enhance client outcomes, and strengthen Trace3's market position. Working closely with sales, delivery, OEM partners, and executive leadership, the SVP converts market signals, field feedback, client demand, and partner opportunities into investment decisions, commercial targets, and scalable offerings. The role is accountable for the Solutions Group's financial performance, leadership development, portfolio management, execution readiness, and Trace3's technology point of view with clients, partners, and the market.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and execute Trace3's Solutions Group strategy in alignment with business objectives, growth priorities, client demand, market trends, and partner programs.
  • Curate and manage the Solutions Group's portfolio across products and services, including which capabilities Trace3 leads, participates in, invests in, or does not pursue, with defined investment levels and regular review cadences.
  • Lead, coach, and develop practice, business, and functional leaders across Data and Analytics, Security, Infrastructure, Digital Consulting, Managed Services Sales, Innovation, and related solution domains while building the leadership bench beneath them.
  • Own offering strategy across the portfolio, including bundling, pricing, cost to deliver, required capabilities, enablement needs, delivery readiness, and commercial viability.
  • Partner with sales and delivery leadership to identify what is winning in the field, what clients are requesting that Trace3 cannot yet sell, and how those insights should inform portfolio investments.
  • Set and own commercial targets for priority offerings and strategic partners, monitor pipeline performance against those targets, and determine where investments are landing or where field support is needed.
  • Own the Solutions Group's financial performance, including bookings, revenue growth, portfolio gross profit, margin performance, budget management, forecasting, resource allocation, and profitable scale.
  • Establish the metrics, dashboards, and reporting used to run the Solutions Group, including bookings and margin by named offering, pipeline by priority partner, forecast accuracy, solution adoption, and organizational technical capability.
  • Drive partner strategy across domains by determining where Trace3 concentrates partner investment, earns top-tier status, builds executive-level relationships, and converts partner alignment into joint pipeline and services attach.
  • Ensure priority offerings reach the field ready to sell and delivery ready to execute, including clear packaging, enablement, sales plays, delivery requirements, operational handoffs, and quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, innovation, and measurable business impact across the Solutions Group.
  • Champion emerging technologies and innovation initiatives that enhance client outcomes, expand Trace3's market relevance, and create new business opportunities.
  • Represent Trace3's technology point of view with clients, technology partners, and the market, in partnership with the Chief Technology Officer.
  • Serve as an executive presenter and technology ambassador at client events, industry conferences, webinars, workshops, and partner engagements.
  • Advise the Executive Leadership Team on technology investment, portfolio direction, organizational capability, strategic priorities, and long-range planning.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 12+ years of senior technology leadership experience within IT consulting, technology services, solution provider, VAR, systems integrator, or managed services environments.
  • Proven experience leading broad technology solution portfolios across domains such as Data and Analytics, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Digital Consulting, Managed Services, Innovation, and related enterprise technology practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, coach, and grow high-performing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-level technology, portfolio, and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business growth and client value.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, P&L performance, gross profit, margin, resource allocation, ROI, and portfolio investment decisions.
  • Experience building, packaging, pricing, enabling, and scaling technology solutions and services in partnership with sales, delivery, practice, and partner teams.
