Job description

At Vicar's Landing, our Physical Therapists do more than provide care-they help our residents regain independence, improve mobility, and live life to the fullest. In this role, you'll create personalized therapy plans, build meaningful relationships, and see the direct impact of your work every day.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals
  • Provide hands-on therapy services to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical response and outcomes
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and in a timely manner
  • Apply clinical judgment to ensure safe and effective treatment approaches
  • Educate residents and families on therapy programs, goals, and progress
  • Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
  • Support a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development to maintain licensure
  • Provide leadership and guidance to support staff when applicable

Must Have Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA/CAPTE preferred)
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working with the geriatric population
  • 2+ years of physical therapy experience
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, or rehabilitation settings
