Veterinary Intern
*Towne Square animal hospital*
We are seeking a Veterinary Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a desire to learn about veterinary medicine. Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about veterinary medicine? Apply today!
Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal care and treatment
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, and exercising
- Clean and maintain animal cages, exam rooms, and other areas of the hospital
- Assist with laboratory procedures
- Assist with radiology procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrollment in a veterinary assistant or technician program
- Experience working with animals preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
