Veterans Security Operations is seeking to increase our unarmed division to service our rapid growing portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security risks, ensuring the safety of people and property of your assigned post. This is a fast-paced position with some weekends required, so we're looking for an individual with experience in the security field who can handle stress well and remain vigilant under pressure.

Position Overview

Veterans Security Operations is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to support our growing portfolio of clients.

This position is assigned to a client whose contract requires security personnel to have a military affiliation. Qualified applicants must be a current or former member of the United States Armed Forces, including Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve personnel.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and responding appropriately to incidents. This is a fast-paced position that may require evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned properties on foot or in a company vehicle.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and suspicious activity.
  • Observe, document, and report unusual activities involving individuals or vehicles.
  • Protect client property and assets from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic when necessary.
  • Respond professionally to public inquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and client post orders.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Veteran, Active Duty Service Member, National Guard member, or Reservist.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license.
  • Clean driving record and ability to provide a current driving abstract upon hire.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent observation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
