Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is looking for a dependable Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide overnight coverage throughout the Denver area. This position involves traveling between assigned locations, checking properties, responding to service requests, and documenting activity throughout each shift.
The officer will work independently for much of the assignment and should be comfortable driving at night, evaluating property conditions, and responding professionally when clients report concerns. Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through are important in this role.
What You Will Do
Mobile Patrol & Property Checks
  • Travel between assigned residential, commercial, construction, and retail locations.
  • Complete scheduled vehicle patrols and on-foot inspections as directed.
  • Check building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and other designated areas.
  • Look for unauthorized activity, property damage, safety concerns, or unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a consistent security presence during overnight hours.
  • Follow assigned patrol routes, post instructions, and company procedures.
Calls for Service
  • Respond to client requests and security-related calls at assigned properties.
  • Assess reported concerns and take appropriate action within established procedures.
  • Communicate relevant information to supervisors when follow-up is required.
  • Assist with resolving routine property concerns while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Request additional assistance when an issue exceeds the officer's assigned responsibilities.
Reporting & Accountability
  • Record patrol activity and property observations throughout the shift.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports when an issue occurs.
  • Document responses to client calls and any resulting actions.
  • Submit required reports and records according to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for each assigned property.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Active driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle during overnight patrol assignments.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Strong observation and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain alert and professional throughout overnight shifts.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of mobile patrol experience preferred.
  • Previous experience conducting vehicle or foot patrols.
  • Background in security, property protection, or field-based security work.
  • Experience responding to client service calls or property-related concerns.
  • Familiarity with security reports and electronic activity documentation.
