Community Outreach Coordinator

Training Center of Central Texas – Harker Heights, TX

The Training Center of Central Texas is seeking a motivated and outgoing Community Outreach Coordinator to drive student enrollment through community engagement, veteran outreach, and employer partnerships.
This is a high-energy, field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and working toward measurable goals. The Outreach Coordinator will represent the organization at events, generate leads, and help guide prospective students into training programs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and manage 2–4 community events per week (job fairs, festivals, schools, workforce events)
  • Set up and operate outreach booths, including materials, signage, and lead capture systems
  • Engage with potential students and convert interest into qualified leads
  • Conduct follow-up via phone, text, and email to move leads toward enrollment
  • Perform outreach to Fort Hood and veteran organizations to build a consistent pipeline
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community partners
  • Coordinate and support weekly info sessions, tours, and recruiting events

  • Track leads, event performance, and follow-up activity

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking with the public
  • Experience in outreach, sales, recruiting, or event marketing (preferred)
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends for events
