Description & Requirements
Maximus is currently hiring for a Scheduling Provider Liaison to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Scheduling Provider Liaison is responsible for building relationships with providers and office staff to facilitate smooth scheduling operations with the goal of increasing time dedicated to VES related exams.
- Due to contract requirements, only US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with providers and office staff to facilitate smooth scheduling operations and increase time dedicated to VES exams.
- Analyze block reports to forecast future block time needs and identify areas where additional time is needed.
- Analyze AARP report(s) to determine potential opportunities to reduce timeliness by obtaining additional provider availability, travel opportunities, etc.
- Review provider utilization report(s) to ensure maximization of usage of our full provider network.
- Track provider travel assignments and associated incentive payments, ensuring bonus requests are accurately submitted and processed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the travel logistics of audio providers, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and resources to support operational needs effectively.
- Report unresponsive providers to PRS and the Scheduling Supervisor and Regional Operations Director.
- Perform initial outreach to provider as soon as the provider announcement email is received; to include introducing their scheduler and requesting PEP dates.
- Review provider report cards and take action to help new providers get released to open scheduling quickly.
- Coordinate additional provider or per diem clinic coverage in the event of an unplanned reschedule of existing exam days.
- Please note upon hire, Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) a Maximus Co. will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfill the duties of your role. New hires will NOT be exempt from using company provided equipment.
Home Office Requirements Using Maximus Provided Equipment:
- Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
- Private work area and adequate power source
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US
- In accordance with SCA contract requirements, remote work must be conducted from the location specified at the time of hire. Travel is NOT permitted, and you are required to remain at your designated home location for all work activities.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 4 years of related experience.
- At least 1 year of VES Scheduling, Diagnostic Scheduling, or Provider Development and Retention experience.
