• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' mental health needs, engaging in active listening and assessment techniques to understand their challenges.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions focused on resolving emotional and behavioral issues, employing therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions, ensuring immediate support and stabilizing emotional distress for clients in high-risk situations.
• Collaborate effectively with family members and other support systems to coordinate treatment strategies, discharge planning, and enhance the continuity of care post-treatment.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment outcomes, in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular communication with physicians and health care professionals to share updates on client progress, needs, and potential or actual challenges encountered during therapy.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and strategies to improve client outcomes and share best practices for treatment.

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and various emotional disturbances. You will work with a diverse array of individuals, including adolescents and adults, many of whom seek support through telehealth services due to barriers related to traditional therapy settings. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys effectively, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• A minimum of three years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a history of delivering effective mental health care.
• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely-related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Proven experience in diagnostic evaluation and the formulation of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, to facilitate documentation and client management.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms, understanding the nuances of delivering remote counseling services effectively.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions or workshops would be beneficial.
• Advanced training in mindfulness or solution-focused therapeutic techniques.
