  • Four or more years of experience working with Python or other similar OOP languages (Java, C#, C++).
  • Proven experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines (SSIS, Apache Airflow, Talend, Alteryx, or custom Python orchestration).
  • Hands-on experience operating on large-scale enterprise datasets.
  • Experience working with SQL or similar technology (T-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Practical experience interacting with vendor APIs, pagination, error handling, and payload ingestion.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling techniques within visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, SSRS, or Splunk).
  • Proficiency in productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), especially data presentation tools (slides, sheets, etc)
  • Basic understanding of application security practices and secure coding principles.
  • A positive, kind, and team-first mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • High degree of initiative; ability to work independently while seamlessly collaborating on team projects.
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI/LLM data tools, predictive analytics.
  • Ability to dive in and perform deep data exploration, using tools such as SQL, Looker Explore, JupyterLab, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud analytical platforms (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift).
  • Experience with vector embeddings or RAG architectures for cybersecurity analytics.
  • Experience translating executive or senior stakeholder requests into technical deliverables and presenting findings to non-technical leadership.
  • Experience building custom analytical web applications or front-end dashboards for enhanced user experience (HTML, CSS, JS, any modern frameworks, etc)
  • Direct experience extracting and transforming data via APIs from security platforms such as: Vulnerability & Endpoint: Tenable (API export), CrowdStrike, Armis, Axonius, Threat & Risk Intelligence: Shodan, BitSight, Flexera, and IT Operations & Service Management: ServiceDesk, ServiceNow, JIRA.
  • Prior experience analyzing enterprise-scale telecommunications or cybersecurity data formats.

  • Experience using Agile management platforms (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, etc).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab) for codebase management
