Job Title: Verification, Validation & Accreditation Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Intermediate Computer Scientist to support our Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Background
Requires a Master's degree; or a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties or include at least 30 hours in math, information technology, and statistics, and must include Integral and Differential calculus.
Years of Experience
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience.
Required Skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, software and system engineers, and OT&E personnel, to document and exercise VV&A processes for identified applications/systems.
  • Coordinate with team members to acquire adequate VV&A evidence supporting VV&A plans, products, and reports.
  • Operate and troubleshoot applications/systems during VV&A efforts and support producing test reports and other evidence as needed.
  • Support preparing and presenting VV&A analysis results.
  • Develop scripts and tools to assess performance parameters identified in VV&A plans and document the results, as necessary.
  • Support gathering, preparing, and presenting application/system tool use metrics.
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of systems used for VV&A efforts.
  • Install and configure applications/systems in compliance with program instructions, ensuring functionality, and documenting configurations and results.
  • Write detailed use cases describing how users will interact with MAMBA, capturing the functional requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of VV&A processes and results, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the continuous improvement of VV&A processes and methodologies within the project.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for integrated tools, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff to ensure smooth adoption of the integrated tools.
  • Gather user feedback on support provided and analyze it to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed.
  • Regularly update the TRMC MAMBA website to reflect current project information, application/system VV&A status, milestones, timelines, and future plans.
  • Ensure all created documents and web pages conform to Section 508 Accessibility Standards.
  • Plan and track tasks using Agile Scrum methodology.
Preferred Skills

  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage VV&A evidence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive documentation and user manuals.

Working Conditions
Work is indoors collaborating with team members.  Climb stairs, sedentary, lift up to 10 lbs.
