WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • The Manager, Carflow & Vehicle Operations is responsible for managing the region's monthly and annual Carflow as well as Vehicle Operations activities.
  • This position supports the Sr. Manager, Carflow & Vehicle Operations with sales planning, vehicle distribution and profit optimization activities.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Manage the process of analyzing the monthly and annual region specific Carflow to react to changing regional needs, identify opportunities and align with regional incentives and profit optimization.
  • Continuously monitor wholesale and retail sales achievement versus plan and prepare recommendations for supply requests to manage/optimize vehicle supply with consumer demand.
  • Regional liaison to national sales planning team, to coordinate inventory constraints and/or available surplus for assignment/allocation as well as to identify and address current and future risks/opportunities in the monthly sales plan.
  • Develop and order the optimal product mix for maximum turn-rate.
  • Monitor and control the allocation process to assure timely and equitable distribution.
  • Coordinate all activities of port operations to ensure vehicles are expediently shipped.
  • Coordinate all Regional Fleet and Service Loaner activities.
  • Assist Senior Manager with other activities, i.e., auto shows, sales training, HDAA activities.
  • Supervise and direct activities of department employees.
  • Maintain monthly/yearly department expenses within established guidelines.
  • Mentor and train field team members.
  • Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Six or more years of similar experience in a complex organization conducting planning, sales analysis, vehicle distribution, etc.
  • Expert abilities within Excel needed.
  • Proficiency with Tableau 2022.2 highly desirable.
  • Automotive Retail or Wholesale experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide robust and substantiated recommendations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths/weaknesses and make recommendations to leverage or augment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
