Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the team of motor coach operators and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high customer service standards.

Fleet Management:

  • Manage the maintenance and repair schedule for the fleet of motor coaches, ensuring all vehicles are in safe and operational condition.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors for timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Customer Service:

  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and improve satisfaction.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and other applicable laws.

  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the transportation department.

Requirements:
