Description of the role:

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist at Renn Kirby Auto Group will be responsible for identifying and acquiring vehicles to add to our inventory. This individual will work closely with sales teams, vendors, and customers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality vehicles for our dealership.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential vehicles for acquisition through various channels including auctions, trade-ins, and private sales.
  • Evaluate vehicles for their condition, market value, and potential profitability.
  • Negotiate with sellers to secure favorable purchasing terms and agreements.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to determine specific vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of all acquired vehicles and their associated documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and efficient acquisition processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify potential gaps in our inventory and recommend suitable vehicle models for acquisition.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in vehicle acquisition, automotive sales, BDC/Call center, or other customer service would be preferred. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with sellers and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for vehicle research and acquisition.(training provided)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
