eCTD Publishing Manager, Regulatory Affairs (Veeva Vault RIM)

Location: Greater Boston Area, MA (Hybrid preferred; Remote considered for exceptional candidates)

Employment Type: Contract (6+ months, potential to extend)

Status: Accepting Candidates

About the Role: We’re supporting a U.S.-based biopharmaceutical organization on a highly specialized eCTD Publishing & Veeva Vault RIM initiative. This role is focused on hands‑on eCTD publishing, data migration into Veeva RIM, and preparation for eCTD 4.0 enablement. This is not a generic regulatory role—deep technical publishing expertise is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on eCTD publishing (initial and lifecycle submissions)
  • Identify and correct outdated or inaccurate RIM metadata and dossiers
  • Execute Excel-heavy data mapping and validation (large datasets)
  • Support preparation, testing, and enablement for eCTD 4.0 submissions
  • Work with XML, application relationships, joins, and submission metadata
  • Conduct development‑to‑production testing and support go‑live readiness
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands‑on eCTD publishing experience
  • Strong experience with Veeva Vault RIM (migration, cleanup, or implementation)
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, large data comparisons)
  • Deep understanding of eCTD structure, metadata, and lifecycle management
  • Experience preparing systems or organizations for eCTD 4.0 strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences or Technology preferred)
