We offer luxurious independent living, combined with a seamless continuum of care including assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation all on a single campus.
Who You Are:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Healthcare Diet Aide. This person will have a genuine interest in working with older adults and be able to engage, motivate, and support both residents and fellow team members. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and aligned with our values of respect, excellence, and community. Essential Functions:
1. Prepare trays/plates following instruction given either in writing or verbally
2. Use portion control procedures
3. Perform routine sanitation responsibilities as assigned by supervisor using required cleaning and sanitizing agents
4. Gather, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling items
5. Transfer supplies and equipment from loading docks to storerooms and/or other locations; Ensure that food and supplies are available for the next meals; Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies; Ensure proper storage of food and supplies
6. Assemble, operate safely, breakdown and clean dish machines, serving lines, toaster, beverage machines, coffee machines and other food service related equipment
7. Maintain the determined standard of service throughout the meal being served
8. Monitor and record temperature gauges on all ware-washing equipment on the schedule provided by the supervisor
9. Adhere to universal precautions and sanitary and infection control policies and procedures
10. Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and incidents
11. Attend and participate in training, educational activities and staff meetings; assist in
orientation and training other staff
12. Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
13. Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
14. Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors.
