Job Description

Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the development and/or maintenance of new or existing golden gate batch processes.
Using golden date programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Data mapping between source and target databases and creation of batch processes. Performance enhancements and monitoring of daily batch execution
Build / design new reports based on new report requests
Evaluate the effort needed for building specific reports
Maintenance of existing reports
Maintenance of reporting portal
Maintenance of the reporting environment
Providing day-to-day technology incident /problem management/ service request /release management support of supporter applications.
Analyze user requirements and procedures to improve existing systems.
Review computer system capabilities and work flow in order to determine appropriate upgrades and improvements.
Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale computer system.
Provide expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications and overall operating systems.
Offshore team engagement and coordination


Qualifications
1. Experience in database replications and Hadoop.
2. Experience of Golden Gate.
3. Knowledge of Oracle database administration
4. Knowledge of Java plugins and formatting of the APIs
5. Previous experience on a similar reporting job
6. Strong knowledge of Excel, including VBA programming (in order to manage / develop custom reports)
7. Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server
8. Knowledge of Business Objects (in order to manage / develop reports in BO)
9. Knowledge of PhP (in order to manage / develop the Reporting Portal)
10. Knowledge of Action Script & Flex - Eclipse AXDT
11. Advance knowledge of Java SE - Swing, JSP, Linux shell scripting, C++, AJAX, Template Matching, Windows Server, Citrix and Oracle VM Tasks:
