A fast-growing consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP amp;A transformation, and modern planning solutions is seeking a highly skilled Pigment-focused EPM Developer.
The organization partners with high-growth companies and major enterprises to build scalable financial models, streamline planning processes, and deliver real-time reporting and analytics.

The firm is expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about modern planning platforms—especially Pigment—and enjoys designing clean, scalable solutions for finance, commercial, and operational teams.


Role Overview

As an EPM Developer (Pigment), you will design, build, and optimize financial planning and reporting models using Pigment. You will work directly with finance, FP amp;A, sales, operations, and supply chain stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust planning architecture.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone with FP amp;A, program controls, commercial finance, analytics, or enterprise reporting experience who wants to deepen their technical expertise in modern EPM tools.


Key ResponsibilitiesPigment Modeling amp; Architecture
  • Build scalable Pigment applications for:

    • P amp;L planning (customer, category, channel, region, product)

    • Trade and commercial planning

    • Workforce and headcount modeling

    • Reporting, dashboarding, and monthly forecasting

    • Scenario planning and what-if modeling

  • Manage multi-application Pigment environments and permissions.

Reporting, Analytics amp; Automation
  • Build dashboards using Pigment Insights, Power BI, or Excel automation.

  • Automate workflows and reduce manual validation through robust data design.

  • Support migrations from Anaplan, Hyperion, PRISM, PBCS, or Excel.

Client Engagement
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand FP amp;A and operational processes.

  • Translate requirements into technical and functional designs.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing, go-live support, and end-user training.

Cross-Functional Work
  • Collaborate with internal solution architects, project managers, and partner teams.

  • Ensure consistent delivery quality and strong long-term client satisfaction.


Required QualificationsTechnical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Pigment strongly preferred.

  • OR experience with comparable EPM/Planning tools:

    • Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, Workday, Hyperion, Oracle PBCS, SAP BPC, S/4HANA, PRISM, Allocadia, etc.

  • Advanced Excel: Power Pivot, lookups, macros, VBA.

  • Experience with Power BI, AFO, SSAS, or similar BI tools.

  • ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, S/4HANA) is a plus.

Finance / FP amp;A Experience
  • Strong background in FP amp;A, commercial finance, program controls, revenue planning, or forecasting.

  • Experience building P amp;Ls, cost allocations, demand planning, or digital commerce reporting is helpful.

  • Ability to interpret financial logic and convert it into model architecture.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous consulting or client-facing implementation experience.

  • Experience migrating from legacy tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, Excel, etc.).

  • Knowledge of CPG, Defense, Tech, Retail, Manufacturing, or similar industries.
