Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the planning, analysis, documentation, and implementation of a new Unified Communications platform. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into clear system requirements, facilitate solution discussions, and ensure alignment across project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, architects, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
  • Support the development of Statements of Work for system integration and platform implementation activitiesย 
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholdersย 
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed System Requirements Documentsย 
  • Create process flows, system impact assessments, functional specifications, and documentation artifactsย 
  • Identify and document functional and non-functional system requirementsย 
  • Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development and delivery teamsย 
Solution Design & Collaboration
  • Identify stakeholders and collaborate with Information Systems teams to design effective solutionsย 
  • Facilitate solution design sessions with developers, architects, analysts, and QA teamsย 
  • Create screen layouts, wireframes, and user interface mockups to support developmentย 
  • Conduct peer reviews and incorporate feedback into requirements documentationย 
  • Support teams throughout the full solution lifecycleย 
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Lead requirements walkthroughs with development and testing teamsย 
  • Review test coverage and help prioritize QA scenariosย 
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actionsย 
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet documented business and system requirementsย 
Project Support & Governance
  • Track deliverables, milestones, and requirements-related activitiesย 
  • Provide effort estimates and support project planningย 
  • Manage change requests and maintain requirements traceabilityย 
  • Support governance processes and ensure documentation accuracyย 
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar roleย 
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirementsย 
  • Experience creating SRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and related documentationย 
  • Ability to facilitate requirements workshops and solution design discussionsย 
  • Experience supporting SDLC methodologiesย 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsย 
  • Experience working with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholdersย 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with telephony infrastructure or Unified Communications platformsย
